Not a bad night

Ezekiel went to bed last night at about 8pm and fell asleep without getting out of bed. He woke at about 3:30am and was standing in his room, so once I put him back he went back to sleep. Then I hear "Mum" at 6:30am this morning and I knew he was standing at the bottom of the stair case so he came up and jumped into bed with us. Not bad for his first night in his bed!

Hurray! Good for you, Zeke! Good idea to try it out now, Meg. Love how he listens and is happy about the whole thing.

I remember Chyenne being unhappy day and night in her crib until, at 15 months, in frustration, I took down her crib one day and set up her mattress and bedding into a little nest on the floor. THEN she finally slept through the night! ahhh, 7 hours of uninterrupted sleep.

But at 6 am, I could feel two big blue eyes boring into the side of my head (why always Mom's side? she had to pass Cam to get round to my side of the bed!) And then lisped in her little voice, "Thereal, Juith!"

I'll take the earlier morning over the sketchy nights.

Way to go, you newbie quilter! Now you'll get addicted to fat quarters, we'll see you fingering bolts of fabric in every sewing store...!
